AES PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE



What a great meeting we had in Las Vegas at the American Dental Association meeting. Your Board of Directors met after the scientific session and luncheon. The scientific session consisted of board members presenting cases that they had personally completed successfully using Sargenti sealer. As one board member, Dr. Bill Stein commented the “use of Sargenti sealer makes my endodontic treatments simple and predictable.” 
The Board is already making plans for our next meeting in San Francisco in October, 2012. Plan to attend, you will not be disappointed. 
The end of the year dues statements have been sent. I encourage you to not only renew your dues, but make a generous contribution to the American Endodontic Society Political Action Fund. This is a tax deductible fund that allows your society to continue the expensive job to further our FDA application. The Board is also making presentations to insurance companies to encourage them to understand that Sargenti sealer is the best endodontic treatment for our patients. If you have had trouble renewing your liability insurance, contact our central office. We have a list of companies that will insure Sargenti users. 
I have used Sargenti sealer for thirty-six years. I will continue to use it because it is the best sealer available. Unfortunately, the struggle to gain FDA approval and to win the public relations within our profession is expensive. The American Endodontic Society is your greatest asset to protect your right to practice endodontics, be generous with your financial support.
