In 1976, the American Endodontic Society established a Fellowship Program to recognize the clinical accomplishments of our members, and to gather clinical data to support the efficacy of the technique. To date, 473 AES members have achieved Fellowship status. They cover the entire breadth of the United States, and extend internationally to Hong Kong, Columbia, Greece, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Canada, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico. In 1990, our Mastership Program was established to provide higher recognition for the accomplishments of members. To date, 55 AES members have achieved Mastership status.
